Sleeping in weird spots

Since Boy Kitty has been on the hyperthyroid medication he has been sleeping underneath the grill cover. It's got to be hot under there and yet he sleeps there. I washed his beds, bought him a new one, put a fan on the patio, etc and he still sleeps there.

However, today, he's sleeping on top of the birdseed plastic bucket. Ok, this can't possibly be comfortable!! Why is he doing that? Half of his body is falling off the bucket and yet, he's sleeping there.

Bizarre.

He made it through without me while I was on vacation just fine though he looks a bit thinner. Not much, but I don't feel that he's as thick as my last post. Maybe it's just me...
